MATE enables a real-time view of the data to investors,
dealers and middle-office supervisors and management.
Its seamless functional integration serves as a foundation
for the platform’s Risk Management functions. Each
investor’s position is marked-to-market in real-time to
track the risk he/she poses to the broker’s business. The
platform’s flexible risk management and control enables
automatic checks to be configured to minimize this risk. As
a result, it greatly mitigates broker risk intra-day, while
simultaneously offering investors maximum leverage of their
assets. The platform supports the set-up of a flexible
organizational hierarchy, allowing information to be shared
between authorized users.
MATE supports multiple access mechanisms including that of
branches, franchisees with single/multiple outlets, over the
Internet and over a WAN. Dealers and institutional users use
GUI based terminals to punch in orders on behalf of their
investors. Additionally, the platform supports web-based
terminals, GUI based terminals, and mobiles for e-broking
investors.
